We usually order chicken and broccoli, very basic. It's decent, broccoli is fresh and chicken isn't over cooked. Sometimes it comes out salty but balances out with the rice.
The hot and sour soup is pretty good here. My daughter likes the wonton soup which isn't anything extraordinary.
We also got the roasted duck once and that was good enough for the price especially in the UES where food like this is limited. $24 for a decent portion of duck plus wraps.
They're quick with delivery (even at rush hour) so that's nice when you're in a pinch for dinner. -

Lunch special here does NOT include a choice of soup or-soda. You get only the entree and choice of rice. I ordered curry chicken with onions. I received curried onions with chicken-extremely little chicken/just loads of onions. Opted for fried rice and to my amazement what was served reminded me of that "San Francisco treat-RiceaRoni!" Oy!

This restaurant has been here for as long as I can remember, and I've been here 35 years, so I guess they are doing something right.
I went there for the first time yesterday in over a decade for a late lunch.
Even though it was late, and not many tables occupied, it was very busy (phones, take-out, deliveries). The woman (I'll assume owner) was very rushed and although ultimately I got what I ordered, she got things confused.
For the cost of the lunch I don't expect much but other restaurants "add a little extra" such as noodles with soup. (I don't eat them...so I didn't ask...maybe if you ask you get them.) There really isn't much atmosphere here such as "anything Chinese" to remind you that you're in a Chinese restaurant.
The food itself was ok, nothing special, but ok.
Keeping in mind that my lunch came to $10, it was worth the price. I'd definitely eat here again but I wouldn't go out of my way. -

Great food! It's actually tough finding great chinese in this city. Pic up Stix is great for take out and delivery. (interior could use updating).
Staff is friendly.
This is my go to spot in the neighborhood. -

Super yummy with decent portions, little hole in the wall place. It's right across the street from my apartment and I probably eat there once a week.
